Kathmandu. Various youth organizations have staged a demonstration at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu, demanding that the report submitted to the government by the Gauri Bahadur Karki-led commission formed to investigate the Gen-G movement be made public.

Representatives and supporters of Gen-G Movement Alliance, Nepal Gen-G Front and Gen-G Civic Forum gathered at Maitighar on Monday and demanded the government to make the report public. The protesters said that the report prepared by the commission should be brought to the public and the issues mentioned in it should be made public in a transparent manner.

Stating that the report should be made public to bring out the facts related to the agitation, they urged the government not to delay in making it public. During the demonstration, the participants held placards and demanded that the report be made public.

The government had formed a commission under the leadership of former Justice Gauri Bahadur Karki to investigate the developments related to the Gen-G movement. Although the commission has already submitted its report to the government, it has not been made public yet.
