Kathmandu. The Secretariat meeting of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is going to be held virtually to finalize the list of proportional representation (PR) lawmakers.
Some leaders who reached the central office, Banasthali, have returned after getting the information that the meeting will be held virtually.
Party President Rabi Lamichhane, who is currently recuperating from the party, had a meeting with DP Aryal and Dr. Swarnim Wagle. Shishir Khanal, Manish Jha, Sobita Gautam, Hari Dhakal, Ganesh Karki and others are in office. Some other leaders had returned from office.
Talking to media persons at the party office premises, Jha said that the list of MPs elected under the proportional representation system would be submitted to the Election Commission today.
The RSP, which had won 125 seats in the first-past-the-post (FPTP) elections on March 4, will get an additional 57 seats under the proportional representation system.
Spokesperson Jha said that the new government will be formed after the completion of the remaining process including distribution of certificates to the PR MPs.
