Kathmandu. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 23.87 points. The NEPSE index increased by 0.85 percent to close at 2,820.44 points.
It was down 46.78 points on Wednesday and 32.08 points on Tuesday. It rose by 23.87 points on the last trading day of the week.
Share prices of 176 companies increased, 77 declined, and 9 remained unchanged.
All sub-groups except hotel and tourism, non-life insurance and other sub-groups increased. Hotel and tourism decreased by 26.77 points, non-life insurance by 4.65 points and other sub-groups by 17.80 points.
A total of 130,015 shares worth Rs 14.55 billion were traded in the market. A total of 4,16,86,405 units of shares were traded in the transaction.
