Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Rastriya Janata Party (RSP) candidate for the House of Representatives election from Chitwan-3, Sobita Gautam, has submitted her election expenditure details.
Gautam submitted her election expenditure details to the Election Commission on Wednesday. She has made public the details submitted to the commission through social media.
According to the public details, Gautam has spent Rs 9,93,045. Out of this, Rs 5,000 was spent on the registration of nominations, Rs 317,400 for the election publicity materials, Rs 30,000 for voter training, Rs 74,200 for printing of sample ballot papers and manifesto, Rs 100,000 for ward level campaigning, two vehicles (including drivers and fuel), Rs 23,445 for stationery and Rs 118,000 for food, ration and water.
The candidates participating in the election are making their expenditure details public. The commission has made public its expenditure details.
Gautam was elected from Chitwan-3 with 59,277 votes.
She was elected to the post defeating former Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Renu Dahal, who was also elected from NCP by a huge margin. Renu came second with 20,615 votes.
