15 Nepalis injured in Iran attack in UAE

Kathmandu. So far, 15 Nepalis have been injured in the Iranian attack in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 14 of them have returned to their work after treatment. At a press conference organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ramji Khadka said that so far 15 Nepalis have sustained minor injuries in the missile and drone attacks carried out by Iran.

One of them is undergoing treatment and his condition is normal, said Khadka. Israel, the United States and Iran are engaged in counter-attacks.

Iran has been carrying out drone and missile attacks on US military bases in the Middle East and the Middle East.

Bibek Shrestha of Gorkha was killed in a drone attack in the UAE. His body has been brought to Nepal and cremated. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said efforts are underway through the Nepali Embassy in the UAE to compensate him. Apart from these, Nepalis living in other areas are safe, according to the Ministry.
