Kathmandu. Kathmandu, March 4: The temporary police personnel deployed across the country in the election to the House of Representatives held on March 4 are to be bid farewell on Thursday.
Spokesperson of Nepal Police, Abhi Narayan Kafle, said that the temporary police personnel will be given a formal farewell by presenting them with certificates.
According to him, as per the work procedure of Nepal Police, the temporary police will be gathered and thanked verbally. “We will bid them farewell tomorrow with special thanks and certificates. According to the procedure, everyone has been gathered and verbally thanked,” he said.
Spokesperson Kafle said that as far as possible, programs will be organized in the presence of office chiefs of different places for group photo taking and tea reception.
Stating that the performance of temporary police has been effective, he said their cooperation, discipline and devotion have made it possible to hold the election in a peaceful and systematic manner.
“With their cooperation, support and support, we were able to conduct the election in a peaceful, orderly and free manner without any major incident,” Kafle said.
He further said that the role of Nepal Police members, other security bodies, employees deputed on election and different government bodies was crucial to make the elections successful.
According to Nepal Police, a total of 1,33,938 temporary police personnel were deployed during the elections held across the country.
