Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Chandra Bhandari has said that the time has come to fulfill his responsibility rather than resign.
Taking to social media on Tuesday, Bhandari said that it was appropriate, responsible and timely to attend the convention sooner than resigning from the post to party President Gagan Thapa.
He wrote, “This is not the time to resign, but to fulfill the responsibility. Therefore, it is appropriate, responsible and timely to go to the convention as soon as Gagan Kumar Thapa resigns in the name of morality. ’
Bhandari said that the true leadership is to save the organization by treating it rather than running away after seeing the problem. He said, “It is the duty of the true leadership not to run away from the problem, but to save the organization by treating it.” ’
He said that it was a moral responsibility in itself to save the party in this situation and it was necessary to administer medicine to the party at a time when the youths are leaving the party. In such a situation, he argues that he should not leave the Congress.
“Morality is almost dead in Nepali politics, so a new thinking, new leadership and new saplings must be planted,” he wrote.
