Kathmandu. CPN-UML leader Ram Kumari Jhankri has said that a meeting would be held to review the reasons for the decrease in the party’s votes. Talking to media persons after taking oath of office and secrecy as a member of the National Assembly, Jhankri said that the reason for the decrease in the number of votes of the CPN-UML would be reviewed in the party.
She said, “The meeting will be held to review the decrease in UML’s votes. These things can be understood from the review of the meeting. We are yet to review where we went wrong, what we should have done, what was the expectations of the people and what we could not fulfill. She also clarified that no immediate decision has been taken on the issue of changing the party leadership.
“It is not possible to say whether the UML leadership will change immediately. There is no agenda for this. There is no agenda without party meetings,” she said. CPN-UML has clinched its third position in the election to the House of Representatives. Party Chairman KP Sharma Oli was defeated by Balen Shah.
