Kathmandu. In Bhojpur, Dhruba Raj Rai of Labour and Culture Party has been elected. Rai garnered 16,663 votes while CPN-UML’s Sherdhan Rai got 14,750 votes.
Sherdhan is the chief minister of Koshi Province. NC’s Bal Krishna Thapa got 8,670 votes, Ramesh Ojha of Rastriya Swatantra Party got 6,102 votes and Ajambar Kangmang Rai of Nepali Communist Party got 5,728 votes. Jitendra Rai of Rastriya Parivartan Party got 812 votes. Likewise, Labour and Culture Party Chairman Harka Sampang has been elected from Sunsari-1 and General Secretary Aren Rai from Khotang.
