Kathmandu. The CPN-UML has won in 7 constituencies so far. The constituencies and candidates won by the UML are as follows:
1. Rajendra Kumar Rai (Dhankuta-1) has won from Dhankuta-1 with 18,132 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Dinesh Rai who got 14,257 votes.
2. Suhang Nembang, Ilam-2 won with 22,426 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Bhesh Raj Acharya with 14,650 votes.
Kshitij Thebe won in Taplejung-1 with 13,962 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Gajendra Limbu with 11,711 votes.
4. Ganesh Singh Thagunna (Darchula-1) has won with 18,891 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Dharmananda Joshi who got 15,836 votes.
5. Laxmi Prasad Pokharel (Dailekh-2) has been elected with 23,889 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Dikpal Kumar Shahi with 9,552 votes.
Ain Bahadur Mahar won in Bajhang with 18,543 votes. His nearest rival was NC’s Prakash Rasaili Snehi who got 16,304 votes.
Mohammad Ishtiyak Rai won from Banke-2 with 24,647 votes. His nearest contender was Bibek Kumar Shrestha of Rastriya Janata Party (RSP) with 18,679 votes.
