Kathmandu. The results of the election to the House of Representatives in Nuwakot Constituency No. 1 have been made public today.
According to the latest results made public by Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat (Tree Symbol), he is leading with 7680 votes.
His nearest rival was Bikram Timilsina who got 7063 votes. He is trailing by more than 600 votes over Mahat, which makes the contest very interesting.
Likewise, Hit Bahadur Tamang (star symbol) got 5278 votes and Badri Mainali (sun symbol) got 3255 votes.
