Kathmandu. In Gorkha constituency-1, Sudan Gurung of Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) has taken an early lead.
He is leading with 90 votes while NC’s Prem Kumar Khatri got 47 votes. Similarly, Hariraj Adhikari of CPN (UML) got 34 votes and Ram Chandra Lamichhane of MMLVE got 7 votes.
Earlier, the counting process had not moved ahead as the ballot boxes had not arrived at the polling centre in northern Gorkha. According to the Office of the Chief Election Officer, the counting of votes has started now with the collection of all the ballot boxes.
