Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP)’s Sulav Kharel has been elected from Rupandehi-2 with a huge margin. The Election Commission is preparing to declare him victorious by making the final results public.
According to the latest election results, Kharel of Rastriya Samajwadi Party is leading with 51,767 votes. CPN-UML’s Bishnu Poudel has 11,660 votes and NC’s Chunna Prasad Poudel has 8,393 votes. The EC is preparing to publish the final election results.
The candidates of the Rastriya Samajwadi Party have been declared victorious in Rupandehi-4 and will win in the remaining four constituencies.
After being declared victorious, Kharel will take out a rally from Butwal-11 to Devinagar, Butwal.
Kharel has called on people to participate in the rally through social networking site Facebook. The RSP has issued a circular for the participants with internal preparations.
