Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — Raju Pandey is leading in the Kathmandu Constituency-3 of the House of Representatives election.
Pandey, the candidate of Rastriya Swatantra Party, has garnered 11,138 votes.
His nearest rival was Kul Man Ghising, who got 6,699 votes. Pandey is ahead of Ghising by 4,439 votes.
Likewise, Nepali Congress candidate Ramesh Aryal received 3,898 votes while CPN-UML’s Rameshwor Phuyal got 1,944 votes.
Other candidates in the election include Niraj Lama of Nepali Communist Party (NCP) who got 267 votes, Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s Sundar Ram Bohara got 465 votes and Labour Culture Party’s Subash Ghising got 219 votes.
Counting of votes is underway at Chamunda Secondary School in Gokarneshwor Municipality-6, Narayantar. The final result is yet to be announced as the counting of votes is still underway.
Out of 64,479 voters, 43,781 votes were cast in Constituency No. 3.
