Kathmandu. Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Gagan Thapa is trailing in Sarlahi-4 by 471 votes. He is the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party. He was trailing by 471 votes against Amresh Kumar Singh. Singh garnered 1,239 votes while Thapa garnered 768 votes. Janamat Party candidate Rakesh Mishra got 250 votes.
UML candidate Amnish Kumar Yadav has fielded 199 candidates while Nepali Communist Party candidate Dr. Rajnish Raya of Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal got 18 votes while Rameshwor Raya Yadav of Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal got 2 votes.
So far, votes have been counted in wards 3, 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11 of Balara Municipality.
