Kathmandu. In Jhapa-5, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RSP) candidate Balendra Shah (Balen) defeated CPN-UML’s former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli by 4,000 votes.
According to the official information till 1:15 pm, Balen garnered 5,254 votes while Oli, who is trailing him, got 1,248 votes.
Similarly, Mandhara Chimariya of Nepali Congress got 187 votes and Ranjit Tamang of Nepali Communist Party got 129 votes.
