Kathmandu. The counting of votes has begun. According to the counting that began from Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality-1, the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) has taken the lead in the preliminary phase.
NCP’s Arjun Thapa got 201 votes while independent candidate Mahabir Pun came second with 61 votes. NC’s KB Bhandari and CPN-UML’s Hari Krishna Shrestha are ahead with 37 votes.
