Kathmandu. Kathmandu’s Maitighar Mandala, which is always crowded and bustling, is deserted on Thursday, the day of the election to the House of Representatives. The place, which used to hold sit-ins, demonstrations and hunger strikes every day with different demands, used to be full even during festivals.
But it can be assumed that the protesters also took part in the election under special circumstances after the Jenji movement.
The desolation of this election can be attested by the hope and expectation of many.
