Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli cast his vote at a polling station set up at Balkot-based Mahindra Shanti Secondary School in Bhaktapur.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli reached the polling centre on Thursday morning to cast his vote as part of the election to the House of Representatives. Voters were seen attending the polling since early morning.
Talking briefly to media persons after voting, PM Oli expressed his confidence that the elections would be held in a peaceful manner. He urged the citizens to actively participate in the voting to strengthen democracy.
Polling began early in the morning in polling stations across the country and voters enthusiastically participated in the voting process. The Election Commission has said that the voting is taking place in a peaceful and systematic manner.
