Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Dr Toshima Karki cast her vote at a polling booth in Kathmandu on Sunday. Karki, who had filed her candidacy from Lalitpur constituency-3, cast her vote from a polling centre in Lalitpur-18 on Thursday morning.
Talking to media persons after voting, Karki said that there was remarkable enthusiasm among the voters. According to him, many Nepalis from home and abroad have returned home to cast their vote while many voters in the Kathmandu Valley have also returned to their villages to cast their votes.
She urged everyone to vote this time and not to miss a single vote.
“There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people. Nepalis from home and abroad have come home to cast their votes. Many people in the valley have also returned to their villages to cast their votes. Don’t miss a single vote this time. It’s time for everyone to make history. I also urge you not to miss your vote.
If you miss the vote in favor of change, you will regret it. The biggest weapon in democracy is the right of the people to vote. ’
She added that people would regret not voting for the change, adding that the people’s right to vote was the biggest weapon in democracy.
