“I am confident that the emergency election to the members of the House of Representatives-2082 that is going to be held at a critical situation developed after the rebellion of youths on September 7 and 24 would further strengthen and mature the Constitution of Nepal and the federal democratic system,” he said. I have informed that all preparations related to the conduct and management of the election have been completed to hold the election to the members of the House of Representatives-2082 in a free, independent, fair and fear-free environment. Voters and voter turnout are most important in an election. Voting is the consent or approval given by the voters to elect a candidate, system or party in an election.

According to the constitution and law, citizens who have attained a certain age are voters and the value of all voters’ votes is equal. Therefore, voting is considered a natural right of the voter. Election is the biggest ritual in a democratic system as the form of political system, governance, government, policy and leadership is determined by each vote cast by each voter in the election. I am confident that all the voters will protect their rights by participating in this ritual. It is also the duty of every sovereign empowered voter to participate in this ritual.

Voter participation in any election is seen as the highest expression of political awareness, social responsibility and civic engagement. Citizen affinity towards governance increases only when citizens register as voters and participate in elections with awareness and awareness of their rights. “The Election Commission is committed to creating an environment that is guided and driven by faith, ideology, principles and integrity without letting any undesirable activities affect the election,” he said.

The EC would like to thank the support and participation of political parties, candidates, voters, civil society, media and media for further encouragement, encouragement and motivation to carry out its role in the election management. I heartily appeal to all the voters to be present at their polling stations on Thursday, March 4, 2082 and vote without any fear as the election is the foundation of representative governance and it provides legitimacy and guarantee to the people’s right to govern through their chosen representatives. ’

He expressed confidence that cooperation received from all stakeholders including political parties, candidates, civil society, media persons and mass media has further encouraged the EC to play its role in election management. He urged the voters to be present at their respective polling centres and cast their vote without any fear as the election was the foundation of representative governance and the election itself would legitimize the people’s right to govern through the representatives they have chosen.
