Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki has called a meeting of the National Security Council (NSC) to discuss the election preparations and security.
The meeting will be held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at 3:00 pm today, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
The meeting is expected to discuss the preparations for the elections and the security of the elections scheduled for tomorrow. Elections to the House of Representatives are taking place across the country tomorrow. Prime Minister Karki has been concerned about the security arrangement as this election is sensitive from the security point of view.
The meeting will be attended by all security chiefs.
