EC urges people not to misuse pass

Kathmandu. The Election Commission has urged all concerned not to misuse the vehicle pass and not to transport other than the person concerned.

Issuing a press release on Tuesday, the EC said, “In order to make the necessary arrangement so that the vehicle pass is not required for the purpose of facilitating the movement of vehicles during the election time, the recommendation made earlier and the vehicles which have been exempted as per this recommendation should not be transported other than the person concerned.” ”

In order to make the operation and management of vehicles effective, systematic and service-friendly on the day of the election to the members of the House of Representatives, 2082, the EC has recommended to the Government of Nepal to make arrangements for the people who have obtained prohibited area entry permit issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal on the basis of clause 15 of the working procedure to make the operation and management of vehicles effective, systematic and service-friendly. Information has also been given.

The Commission has also informed all concerned through this press release that the local administration would ban the operation of such vehicles if found violating the rules.
