Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has urged the general public not to store petroleum products unnecessarily.
NOC executive director Chandika Prasad Bhatta said unnecessary storage of fuel would be regular and would be regular throughout the election.
“The import of petroleum products through the pipeline is being carried out regularly and adequate quantity of petroleum products will continue to be imported during the upcoming elections,” he said in a notice issued on Monday. ”
He also said that filling petroleum products in jerry cans, drums has been prohibited keeping in mind the risk of fire accidents while storing petroleum products in jerry cans and drums unnecessarily.
The regulation has also requested all the consumers to support by purchasing only the required quantity of petroleum products to minimise the risk of possible fire-related accidents.
