Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa has urged the party leaders and cadres not to be stuck only on social media.

Addressing an election gathering at Butwala of Rupandehi district on Friday, he urged the party leaders and cadres not to stick to social media as the election date is near.

“I request all my party friends that only a few days are left. Don’t be distracted, my friends. Go door-to-door,” Thapa said, adding, “You put your views on social media. But don’t just stick to social media. ’

Stating that the NC is the biggest force organization, Thapa urged the party leaders and cadres to go door to door for election campaigning and listen to the youths.

“Our biggest strength is the strength of the organization. Use your feet, go from house to house. Use your hand, go and bow down,” he said. Listen to the young people. ’

Thapa also reminded the youths that they could be abused in the beginning. He also urged the party leaders and cadres to convince the angry youths about the party.

“They’re going to say two lines first. Talk to them properly,” Thapa said, adding, “Tell them that this NC has made a resolution from the convention.” ’

Thapa urged the youth to tell the youth that the NC special general convention has made a new determination to carry all the good things of the past and give up the bad ones.

“I have come with a new resolution that I will carry all the good things of yesterday, I will leave all the bad things of yesterday. This Congress should get a chance,” he said, adding, “This Congress has not only resolved to give results within 5 years, but has come with a promise.” This Congress should get a chance. ’

President Thapa also said that he should not get too carried away by the politics of excitement. “Let’s not get too carried away by the politics of provocation. This telephone has deceived many people,” he said, “When you go home in the evening, the YouTube you watch, the Facebook you watch, has deceived many people.” Let’s not get too confused. ’

President Thapa said the NC expects support from Nepali citizens scattered in different countries. “We call on Nepalis around the world – we need your support. You and I have to come together to be a force,” he said.

President Thapa said that he was firmly rooted in the soil saying that he could do something in the country. “I have a request to everyone. We have reached this place by working from the bottom of the Nepali Congress,” he said, adding, “We are sitting firmly in the soil thinking that we can do something in this country.” ’
