Kathmandu. The traffic congestion in the Kathmandu Valley has increased as the elections are approaching. Problems were seen in traffic management at various crossroads of the capital after regular traffic police were deployed outside the Kathmandu Valley for election security. Election police have also been deployed in road traffic management to control the increasing traffic jam.
They have been playing an active role in maintaining traffic discipline, clearing traffic jams and facilitating the smooth movement of passengers.
