Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has left for Singapore today. PM Deuba has left for Singapore for health check-up.
According to a source at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Deuba flew to Singapore Airlines on Wednesday itself. Some other people have also gone to Singapore with Deuba.
Deuba remained inactive after the party’s special general convention elected a new committee under the leadership of Gagan Thapa.
He was beaten up in the Genji movement. He was then treated in Singapore.
Since Deuba is not a candidate this time, he has left for abroad just before the election. NC’s Nain Singh Mahar has been fielded from Dadeldhura this time.
