Kathmandu. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index posted a double-digit fall today. The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index surged 10.30 points to close at 2,648.90 points on Thursday.
According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the turnover was worth Rs 4.45 billion today. On the previous day, the index had increased by 21 points to Rs 4.23 billion.
Except for the sub-indices of finance, mutual fund and trading group, the remaining 10 sub-indices have turned positive. The sub-indices of the life insurance group increased by 1.79 percent while the sub-indices of other sub-indices decreased by 1 percent.
Today, the price of shares of 157 companies has increased while the price of 90 companies has fallen. Share prices of Salpa Development Bank and Reliance Spinning Mills have increased by 10 percent today.
