Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is going to celebrate Global Money Week 2026 from March 16-22 with the slogan ‘Smart Money Talks’. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is going to organize the program in Nepal this year as well. According to the NRB, there will be active participation of stakeholders including banks and financial institutions associated with the financial system. According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, this is the fourteenth series of Global Money Week.
The campaign is being implemented worldwide since 2012 in collaboration with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) with the objective of promoting financial literacy among children and young people. So far, this campaign has reached more than 70 million children and youth in 176 countries. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has urged all organizations, educational institutions and stakeholders working to promote financial literacy to participate in the campaign and celebrate Global Money Week 2026 in a grand manner.
The NRB has also requested the NRB to provide information about its programs through email from Financial Inclusion and Consumer Protection Division under the Office of the Governor.
