Administration bans ex-king’s reception program, warns of action if demonstrators in prohibited area

The Kathmandu District Administration Office (DAO) has stopped a group of royalists who were preparing to welcome former King Gyanendra Shah at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) after his return from Jhapa. The administration has banned such programmes saying that the election code of conduct has already come into force.
