Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that Balendra Shah has come to Jhapa after the people of Kathmandu did not believe him.
Speaking at a voters’ meet in Jhapa on Monday, he said that the people who won in Kathmandu did not have the courage to rise again as no one in their own district could believe it.
“We need to know why no one from their own district is contesting the election. No one in his own district is in a position to believe it. You can’t lie there. Why doesn’t a person who has won in Kathmandu dare to fight again? Why did you have to come here? Friends have understood this. ’
Likewise, he said that instead of talking about social harmony on the basis of social justice and equality and national unity on the basis of social harmony, we have now heard the talk of Madhesi and Pahadi language.
He said, “Another thing I have been hearing is Madhesi-Pahadi somewhere. Don’t talk like that. We should talk about social justice and equality. On the basis of that, we should talk about social harmony and on the basis of social harmony, we should talk about national unity. We all have to unite and make our own place, village and district. ’
“The country is not built by caste, but by ideas, vision, policy, plan, determination and efforts,” he said.
“The country will not be decided on which caste candidate is there. The nation is not built by caste, but by ideas, visions, policies, plans, determinations and efforts. Therefore, we should not talk about caste. ’
