Two arrested for cheating people in the name of foreign employment

. Police have arrested two persons on the charge of swindling money in the name of foreign employment.

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku has arrested unemployed youths from different places in the Kathmandu Valley for further investigation and action on the basis of a complaint of cheating unemployed youths on the pretext of sending them abroad with lucrative salaries.TAG_OPEN_p_7

The arrested is 35-year-old Rupesh Lamichhane, a permanent resident of Panchkhal municipality-3 in Kavrepalanchowk and currently living in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32.TAG_OPEN_p_6 According to the police, he duped a person of Rs 9 lakh on the pretext of sending him to Australia.

Similarly, 35-year-old Hira Tamang of Khaniyabas Rural Municipality-3 of Dhading and currently living in Tokha Municipality-6 of Kathmandu was also arrested.TAG_OPEN_p_5 He is accused of cheating a person of Rs 8.50 lakh on the pretext of sending him to Slovakia.

The Kathmandu TAG_OPEN_p_4 Valley Crime Investigation Office has arrested both of them from the concerned place and sent them to the Department of Foreign Employment for necessary investigation and action.
