. Baitadi: Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa has expressed sorrow over the death of 13 people in a bus accident at Purchaudi municipality in Baitadi district.
Issuing a condolence statement today, Thapa said he was saddened by the news of the accident and wished eternal peace to the departed soul.TAG_OPEN_p_5 He has also extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family on behalf of the party and himself.

On Thursday, the bus carrying the wedding procession met with an accident at Badgaon turn in Bajhang from Purchaudi-7, Bhavane.TAG_OPEN_p_3 In the accident, 8 people died on the spot and 5 at Dadeldhura Hospital. At least 34 people were injured in the incident. The injured are undergoing treatment in Dadeldhura, Dhangadhi and Bajhang.
