. Gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 10.4 million have been stolen from a house in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6, Bouddha Tusal, police said on Sunday.
According to SSP Santosh Khadka of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, the theft took place on Tuesday afternoon.TAG_OPEN_p_5 Preliminary suspicion is that the theft took place when the house owner Rinji Lama had gone to wash clothes and dry them on the roof.
SSP Khadka said, “We have received information that he spent about an hour on the roof to dry clothes.TAG_OPEN_p_4 It appears that the theft took place on that occasion. We are investigating. ”
The Crime Investigation Office, Police Circle, Bouddha and District Police Range, Kathmandu are jointly investigating the case.TAG_OPEN_p_3
