Kathmandu. Preparations for the eighth anniversary of the Madhesh Provincial Assembly have reached the final stage. Kathmandu, Feb. 4: All the staffers of the Madhesh Provincial Assembly are busy for the eighth anniversary celebration of the festival.
On Monday, a cleaning and tree plantation program was organized in the premises of the Madhesh Provincial Assembly on Monday.
Similarly, chess, badminton and musical chair among the lawmakers and employees of the Provincial Assembly will be held today. Likewise, the provincial assembly is also scheduled to hand over support to Janakpurdham-based Manav Sewa Ashram, Old Age Ashram and Kabir Bal Ashram today.
The blood donation program will be held in the morning on the main day of the eighth anniversary of the Madhesh Provincial Assembly on Wednesday and the main ceremony will begin from 12.30 pm.
To make this year’s anniversary different and memorable, a stage has been made of mud reflecting Maithili culture and cultural programs of various local languages will be presented.
There is also a program to honour various personalities including employees of the Province Assembly on the main function of the anniversary.
