Kathmandu. Police have arrested a man for allegedly cheating people by showing off fake gold. Jit Bahadur BK, 43, of Chaudandigadhi Municipality-3 in Udayapur was arrested.
According to Jhapa Police, BK tried to deposit a yellow metal (fake gold) at Bhojpur Jewellers located in Bhadrapur Bazaar.TAG_OPEN_p_5 BK was arrested with fake gold ornaments after he informed the police.
TAG_OPEN_p_4 In the past, BK has been involved in similar fraud attempts in the Birtamod area. According to Nepal Police Spokesperson Khagendra Bahadur Khadka, “Such cases of fraud can take place through greed. Everyone is urged to remain vigilant. ”
This TAG_OPEN_p_3 incident sends a message to us that it is always necessary to exercise caution while dealing in jewellers or buying/selling gold. It can be dangerous to admit someone’s point of view without evidence in unforeseen circumstances.
