10 arrested for robbery in Manohara, Kathmandu

. KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 10 persons on the charge of robbery from Mulpani area of Kageshwori Manohara municipality-6 in Kathmandu.

One person was injured during the arrest last night. According to police, a suspect was shot below the knee while trying to run away after hitting police on a motorcycle.

The police had stepped up a special vigil after receiving complaints that a gang had been active in the area for a long time to loot jewelry, cash and other valuables.TAG_OPEN_p_4

Spokesperson of the Range, Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, said that the arrested have been kept at the District Police Range, Kathmandu and further investigation into the case is underway.TAG_OPEN_p_3
