Kathmandu. The Ministry of Education (Eleventh Amendment) Regulations, 2083 has been sent to the Ministry of Finance for approval.
According to the proposed provision, secondary level first grade teachers will get up to Rs. 50 lakhs and second grade teachers will be able to buy up to Rs. 40 lakhs of vehicles.
Similarly, teachers of all grades of secondary, third grade, lower secondary and primary level will get Rs. A provision has been proposed to buy two-wheelers up to Rs 4 lakh.
The government of Nepal will bear the installment interest up to 80 percent of the cost of the financial arrangement for the purchase of vehicles through banks. Teachers will be able to manage the remaining 20 percent of the amount themselves and purchase vehicles.
The government will bear the installment interest determined by the concerned bank for the duration of the service of the teachers.
