Thapa to address NC general convention on fourth day

Kathmandu. The closed session of the 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress is concluding on the fourth day today.

The convention delegates will endorse the political proposal of national renaissance and prosperity presented by party President Gagan Kumar Thapa, the contemporary proposal of Vice-President Bishwa Prakash Sharma on the responsibility of decay of political culture and change in tune with the times, the report of organization of General Secretary Gururaj Ghimire and the financial report of Treasurer Umesh Shrestha.

Suresh Raj Acharya, a member of the Information, Communication and Technology Committee, said that the delegates of the General Convention have been continuously considering the reports since last Monday. Representatives of the seven provinces, as well as sister organizations and well-wishers, participated in the discussion.

Acharya said that the closed session will resume from 10:30 am today. Party President Thapa is scheduled to address the beginning of the session tomorrow.
