Kathmandu. Government spokesperson Sasmit Pokhrel has defended Prime Minister Balen Shah’s comments on social media.
Responding to media persons’ queries at a regular press conference organized to unveil Cabinet decisions, Pokharel claimed that the Prime Minister had not made any frivolous remarks.
During the press meet, media persons asked whether the Prime Minister of the country can make derogatory remarks, referring to the statement made by the Prime Minister on social media last night.
In response, spokesperson Pokharel said, “There has been no such frivolous comment. It was an issue he made when he was in the metropolis, and he talked about it.” ’
