Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader and lawmaker Dr. Amresh Kumar Singh has urged Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa to take responsibility for the present apocalypse.
Writing a message on social media, he took a dig at Gagan Thapa by calling him ‘President of the Naya Party’. Replying to RSP President Lamichhane at the Nepali Congress general convention yesterday, Amaresh said, “We have also sent some MPs.”
“They are not just leaving the party, they were forced to leave only after you handed over the responsibility of the party to fraudsters, corrupt and contractors,” he said. ’
MP Singh has also asked the party that fought for democracy to take responsibility for the situation that has brought it to this state today, rather than boasting about being the ‘party that brought democracy’. He wrote, “It is not enough to sing the glory of history, but we should also take responsibility for the apocalypse of the present.” ’
“What could be a bigger irony than this,” he said, accusing him of doing politics by selling the name of the party that brought democracy and destroying the foundation of the same party.
