Kathmandu. The stock market has fallen for the third consecutive day. The NEPSE index decreased by 4.82 points to close at 2,598.89 points today.
Today, except for hydropower, mutual funds and investments, the indices of all groups have fallen. Shares of 157 companies decreased today and 109 increased. Similarly, shares of 13 companies remained unchanged.
Shares of Sanima Growth Fund and Chirakhwa Hydropower fell by more than 3.5 per cent today. Shares of Sindhu Bikas Bank rose 14.37 per cent on the day the market was down.
Although the NEPSE index decreased today, the turnover amount has increased. Shares of 352 companies were traded at Rs 4.76 billion compared to Rs 4.65 billion yesterday.
