Kathmandu. The traffic police have taken action against 636 drivers in the last 24 hours.
As many as 77 drivers were arrested for drunken driving, 62 drivers were booked for driving under the influence of alcohol and 27 were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, in course of checking conducted by the Traffic Police at different places of Kathmandu Valley till Tuesday morning.
Similarly, 79 drivers were penalized for speeding, 15 for not wearing horn, 12 for lane crossing, 17 for not being in good condition, six for one-way traffic and six for others.
