The bridge at Chyasal in Lalitpur has been touched by floods. After the flood touched the bridge, the traffic police have stopped the movement of people from the bridge.
The police have also appealed to the people not to travel in the corridor by miking the floods in the rivers in the valley.
Naresh Raj Subedi, spokesperson of the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Ramshah Path, said, “Surveillance has been increased in the coastal areas as the water level in the rivers and rivers of Kathmandu has risen. Miking has been done to avoid traveling in the corridor. ’
He said that the roads parked on the roads along the river and river banks have also been asked to be removed. He said that police personnel have also been deployed at risky places including the Chyasal bridge.
According to meteorologists of the Nepal Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Nepal due to the influence of the low pressure system developed in the Bay of Bengal. This system is gradually moving from the east to the west. Therefore, there is a possibility of more rainfall in the districts from Bagmati to the west than from the east from tomorrow, said meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane.
