Kathmandu. The Troubled Cooperative Management Committee has returned the savings of 105 small savers of four troubled cooperatives. According to the committee, the amount of 35 small savers of Shiva Shikhar, 2 of Oriental Cooperative, 13 of Tulsi and 55 small savers of Kantipur Cooperative has been returned.
The government has clarified that the amount received from the loan recovery of the troubled cooperatives has been returned to the affected savers.
In the first phase, the money will be returned to the savers who have a small amount of savings, according to the committee. In this way, the amount will be returned by classifying the amount of the savers respectively.
The task of recovering loans from the troubled cooperatives and returning the savings from the money received from the management of the cooperatives to the savers of the cooperatives is being carried out continuously as per the prevailing legal provisions.
