Kathmandu. CPN-UML lawmaker Ain Bahadur Mahar has said that it is the responsibility of the government to maintain the dignity and dignity of the House of Representatives.
Speaking in the meeting of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, he accused the ruling party of repeatedly undermining the dignity and dignity of the parliament.
He said, “It is the responsibility of all the honorable members to maintain the dignity and dignity of the House of Representatives and the maximum responsibility lies with the government. We have requested many times. We have raised this issue. The government and the ruling party are repeatedly behaving in such a way that the dignity and dignity of this House are being tarnished and such working style and behavior is being manifested here.” ’
Mahar questioned whether the dignity and dignity of the parliament was expected only from the opposition or from the government as well.
“I want to ask the question, is the dignity and decorum of this assembly expected only from the opposition? I want to ask this question. Shouldn’t the government uphold the dignity and dignity of this assembly?”
Mahar said that the Prime Minister and the Home Minister have also violated Rule 20 (6) of the House of Representatives Regulations as there is a provision that prohibits the Speaker from walking between the Speaker’s seat and the speaker.
He said, “Recently, when Honorable Yuvraj Dulal was speaking, Honorable Home Minister, Rule 20 (6) of the House of Representatives Regulations provides that one should not walk between the Speaker’s seat and the member who is speaking. In violation of this rule, sometimes the Prime Minister and the Honorable Home Minister have violated that rule and I would like to request.” ’
