Prime Minister’s Relief Fund reaches Rs 14 billion

Kathmandu. A total of Rs 14.02 billion has been deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Rs 10.40 billion has been deposited in nine banks as of 9 am today.

Similarly, 23.76 thousand 575 US dollars have been deposited in the dollar account of the other two banks of the fund.

Earlier, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) had released Rs one billion to the flood victims of the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa from the relief fund.
