KATHMANDU: Coordinator of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the RSP-led government has dealt the first blow to Madhes and Madhesi people.
Talking to media persons at Janakpur Airport on Friday, coordinator Prachanda said that the government led by RSP has given the most pain to Madhes and Madhes people.
Prachanda said that the government has attacked the poor, laborers and farmers here. He objected to the government’s policy of imposing tax on the Madhesi people who have been protecting the border points of India with Madhes.
Prachanda said that Prime Minister Balendra Sah in one of his statements said that Nepal has encroached on the border of India is aimed at the Madhesi people. Prachanda said that Prime Minister Balen’s statement has insulted the Madhesi people.
He said that the vote given by the Madhesi people with the belief that the son of Madhes will become the Prime Minister has directly attacked the Madhesi people.
Prachanda said that the government’s budget and appointments are also against Madhes. Prachanda said that after the passage of time, the people of Madhes will review that they voted in the wrong place. Coordinator Prachanda claimed that the youths will revolt against this government again.
He said that the lawmakers of the Rastriya Samajwadi Party are now against the government because they feel that the government is against the Madhesi people. Prachanda said that the Madhesi people will definitely understand the removal of the ministers of Madhes by insulting them and soon the Madhesi people will come out against the government.
