Kathmandu. A mass religious ritual was performed to pray for the salvation of all the people who lost their lives due to the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa on August 10. This morning, the departed souls were cremated on the banks of the Bagmati River in the premises of Pashupatinath Temple.
Srimad Bhagavad Gita recitation, Shri Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra, Dwadashakshari and Panchakshari mantra chanting and Harinam Sankirtan have been organized with the pious objective of speedy recovery of the flood-affected people and for providing patience and courage to the bereaved family members.
