Kathmandu. So far, the bodies of 1,341 people who have gone missing due to floods in the Bhotekoshi River have been recovered.
According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, the bodies of 1,341 people have been recovered till 11 am today. The bodies of 98 of the deceased have been identified and handed over to the relatives of the deceased, according to the NRA.
At the same time, 6,075 injured people have been treated. Now 4,996 people are out of contact.
So far, 13,104 people have been rescued from the affected areas, according to the NRA. Of those rescued, 3,652 are in holding centers while the rest have gone to their homes.
